Focus: The Sacred Heart of Jesus is the beating heart of divine love—restless until the lost are found and the wounded healed
- Today we are drawn into the tender core of divine love: the Heart of Jesus. It is not just a symbol but the source of mercy, the center of compassion, and the wellspring of grace. This Heart never ceases to seek, to forgive, and to embrace.
- Ezekiel’s prophecy portrays God as a shepherd who personally seeks out the lost, heals the injured, and strengthens the weak. This image finds its perfect fulfillment in the Heart of Jesus, the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine for the one.
- St. Paul reveals the depth of this love—it is not for the righteous, but for sinners. Christ died for us while we were still enemies. This is not a calculated love but a sacrificial, overflowing, and redeeming love.
- The parable of the lost sheep is not a sweet anecdote but a bold revelation: the joy of God is in finding the lost, not punishing them. Heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents more than over the many who never stray.
- The Sacred Heart invites us to trust again in mercy, to return from our wanderings, and to let ourselves be carried back on the shoulders of Christ. It also calls us to imitate this mercy—to seek the lost, heal the wounded, and love the unlovable.
- In a world where hearts are often closed, cold, or hardened, we are summoned to be hearts open with tenderness, broken with love, and aflame with divine charity.
Direction: The Heart of Jesus still beats for you. Do not resist His pursuit. Let His love find you, heal you, and send you forth to love others in the same way.
